The League of Women Voters®, established in 1920, promotes political responsibility through informed active participation in government at all levels. The League accomplishes this goal by:

Voter Service: registering voters, bringing information to the public through open and balanced forums and written materials.

Non-Partisan Policy: neither supporting nor opposing any candidate or political party.

Study and Advocacy: working for or against selected public issues after thorough study and only if there is agreement among members
